2020 SEG – Guaranteed Payments
As of the 1st January 2020 the new Government SEG (Smart Export Guarantee) comes in to force, this new scheme is only for NEW solar pv systems and not available to those who are currently on the feed in tariff scheme.
The idea of the SEG is that the Government will ensure that Energy Companies pay out to residential energy generators for electricity that the export back to the National Grid.
The main thing is that you are not tied to your current Energy Supplier to recieve these SEG payments, meaning you can find the best rates from energy suppliers in Lancashire and Cumbria and apply directly to them.
More information on the SEG can be found on the ofgem website > here.
Available in Blackpool, Preston, Lancaster, Carlisle, Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, Blackburn and throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.
